Dutch neobank Bunq has introduced crypto trading services in six European countries—Netherlands, France, Spain, Ireland, Italy, and Belgium—allowing users to buy and sell over 300 cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana, directly through the Bunq app.
This new feature, called Bunq Crypto, is powered by a partnership with cryptocurrency exchange Kraken. The integration aims to provide a secure and user-friendly platform for digital asset investments.

Bunq’s research indicates that 65% of European users desire a single platform to manage banking, savings, and crypto investments. In response, Bunq plans to expand its crypto trading services across the European Economic Area, as well as into the U.S. and U.K., pending regulatory approvals.
With over 17 million users and $8 billion in user deposits as of 2024, Bunq continues to enhance its offerings, including recent additions like stock trading and new financial tools, to serve the evolving needs of its customer base.
